The NFC East division is arguably the most competitive division in the entire NFL as every single year all four teams in the division have the opportunity to win the division title and make a run at the Super Bowl.

Obviously some teams in the division have had their fair share of struggles over the years like the Washington Redskins and the New York Giants, but it hasn’t taken long for both of them to turn things around.

The Washington Redskins may have been one of the worst teams in the league over the past couple of seasons, but they have quickly turned the corner recently by adding six-time Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb and future Hall of Fame head coach Mike Shanahan.

The New York Giants may have had a forgettable season last year, but only a few years ago they were Super Bowl champions.

With that being said, the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and Washington Redskins always seem to put competitive football teams on the gridiron and this season might be the toughest battle for the NFC East division title in recent memory.

Heading into the 2010-2011 NFL regular season, the Dallas Cowboys will be the favorites to win the NFC East division title and for good reason as they seem poised to make a run at the Super Bowl with arguably one of the most dynamic offenses in the NFL.

With Tony Romo under center and tons of offensive weapons at his disposal in the air attack and in the running game, the Cowboys will be putting a lot of points on the scoreboard this season, but one of their biggest additions to their potent offense is rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant out of Oklahoma State.

Even though the Dallas Cowboys have Miles Austin, Roy Williams and arguably the best tight end in the game in Jason Witten, owner Jerry Jones wanted to add some more speed to this receiving corps and elected to go with a very controversial rookie in Bryant.

Despite getting selected in the first-round in the 2010 NFL Draft, even though he sat out the majority of the college football season last year with the Oklahoma State, Dez Bryant was arguably the best all around wideout in the 2010 NFL Draft and could very well be the future number one receiver in Dallas.

Unfortunately, it didn’t take long for the rookie wideout to be watching from the sidelines as he suffered a high ankle sprain in practice and has sat out the entire preseason for the Dallas Cowboys.

Even though a high ankle sprain can keep skill players like Dez Bryant out a considerable amount of time, the 24th overall pick will make his Dallas Cowboys debut against the Washington Redskins in the nation’s capital on September 12th.

This is great news for the Dallas Cowboys as adding Dez Bryant into the mix just makes their offense that much better!
