Dallas Cowboys @ Washington Redskins Sun. Nov. 20, 2011 1 p.m. EST
Over the past decade or so, the NFC East division has been an extremely competitive division in the NFL with all four teams having a legitimate shot of winning the division title or at least contending for the NFC Wild Card. This season things have changed a bit with the Washington Redskins (3-6) and the Philadelphia Eagles (3-6) pretty much out of playoff contention heading into Week 11, but the Dallas Cowboys (5-4) and the New York Giants (6-3) still have a shot to be playoff bound and will be battling it out for the division title.

With that being said, every single divisional game from here on out is extremely crucial for both the Giants and the Cowboys, but Dallas is still a game behind New York and will come into Week 11’s NFC East showdown with Washington in a must-win situation.
Now that the Dallas Cowboys have a legitimate threat coming out of the backfield in the form of running back DeMarco Murray, Jason Garrett’s offense has opened up completely with superstar quarterback Tony Romo finally having the versatile offense that he needs to turn this team into a Super Bowl title contender.
The one problem the Cowboys have had over the years besides a non-existent running game is the inability to play consistently well week in and week out. That problem might be in the distant future coming into this week if the Cowboys can win once again. With three wins in the last four games, America’s Team has shown promise, but everyone is waiting for this team to drop the ball like they have in years past.
The Washington Redskins on the other hand are looking to regain the form they had in the beginning of the NFL regular season when they won three of the first four games and were in first place in the NFC East. Ever since the benching of starting quarterback Rex Grossman, the Redskins have drastically gone downhill with five straight losses against the Philadelphia Eagles (20-13), Carolina Panthers (33-20), Buffalo Bills (23-0), San Francisco 49ers (19-11) and the Miami Dolphins (20-9).
Now that head coach Mike Shanahan has decided to go back to Rex Grossman under center, the Redskins’ fortunes could change and this team might be able to make a drastic turnaround, but chances are this team will continue to struggle until they can bring in a franchise caliber quarterback next season or in the near future.

With that being said, the Dallas Cowboys definitely have an easy win on the horizon against their division rivals as I really can’t see the Washington Redskins putting up a fight or even contending with the potent offense of America’s Team.
As of right now, the Dallas Cowboys are favored to get the win in the nation’s capital with a -8 point spread. This spread is right on the money in my opinion as I see another blowout win in the making for Tony Romo and company.
Take the Cowboys at -8.
