For the second time this season the Ravens virtually shut down the Steelers offense while putting up plenty of points themselves. Sometimes you just have to consider that there are matchups in which one team is almost destined to dominate because of the fundamental way that each of them approaches the game. The Ravens vs the Steelers would appear to be one such match.

Texans running back Ron Dayne broke out for a record performance as Houston hosted the struggling Colts. Indianapolis has had a horrific record as of late losing 4 of their last 6 games after being undefeated for the first 9 games of the season.

Bears Escape Another Loss - Dec 27, 2006 - 7:55:16 PM
It's difficult to believe that the top seeded team in the NFC still hasn't decided who their quarterback is. Backup QB Brian Griese came into the game in the 4th quarter to replace Rex Grossman after the Lions scored 14 unanswered 3rd quarter points and led the Bears by a score of 21-17. Griese didn't have any TD's but he did put together a couple of good scoring drives.

Rattay Shines Again at Homecoming - Dec 27, 2006 - 6:19:46 PM
Tim Rattay got his first win as a Tampa Bay starting QB witha 22-7 whooping of the Cleveland Browns. Rattay had a homecoming of sorts as he was born in Elyria just outside of Cleveland and lived there about 10 years during which time his father, Jim Rattay, won two state championships as football coach of Elyria Catholic High School.
