Week 11 in this “unreal” NFL season is complete. We say “unreal” if you are talking about the kicking game. Who around here is talking about anything else. We are used to seeing missed field goals, however, point after attempts not so much.

Kickers managed to miss 12! — extra point attempts on Sunday. This marks a league record. Only a couple of seasons ago there were 8 for the entire season.

Lets look at some of the things that actually went right in week 11.

  • Minnesota Vikings had a 104-yard kickoff return and a 100-yard pick-six.
  • The Raiders enjoyed their trip to Mexico, as they went into first place in the AFC West.
  • The Detroit Lions, now winners of five of their last six.
  • The Dallas Cowboys have won nine in a row. This is the first time in their 57 season history.
  • Kirk Cousins
  • The Buccaneers rookie Kicker Roberto Aguayo made all four of his field goal attempts. And an extra point. Lets give him a tip of the hat.
