It is no surprise that the New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals are in the top two spots of this week’s rankings. They are both 3-0, but that isn’t the only reason for their placement, as both teams have been destroying their opponents in each game. During Week 3, the Patriots beat the Jaguars 51-17, and the Cardinals beat the 49ers 47-7, both games were brutal to watch. The Bengals and Panthers are quickly moving up the ranks as they have surprisingly been performing at a high level.

Teams that are moving up as well include the Vikings and Raiders, with Raiders QB Derek Carr being a huge factor to their recent success, and probably future as well. Carr has thrown for 726 yards, with 5 pass touchdowns, and only giving up 1 interception so far. He is set to be one of the best quarterbacks of the league if he continues to perform this well. The Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants were finally able to get their first victory, at last proving that they belong higher up in the rankings, but they still have a long way to go if they want to make it to the playoffs this year.

With a surprising and amazing defensive stand, the Seattle Seahawks were able to deliver a gut-wrenching and humiliating loss to the Chicago Bears, shutting them down 26-0. The most disappointing football team, you guessed it, the Bears. Last in the ranks and not performing at all as most would have predicted, they need to step up or the only thing they will have to look forward to is getting first pick during the 2016 NFL Draft. The rest of the season will determine whether these teams will continue to dominate or not.
